Tarupiwa Tarupiwa is the Managing Director of Emeritus Reinsurance Zimbabwe, bringing over 20 years of distinguished reinsurance industry experience. He holds a Degree in Business Studies and an MBA from the University of Zimbabwe and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) of London. Tarupiwa joined Zimre Group in 1997 and rose through the ranks to Managing Director. His strategic acumen drives excellence as Emeritus Re continues its trajectory towards Africa domination.
Managing Director (International)
Patience Mashaire Marwiro is the Managing Director of First Reinsurance Company Botswana (Pty) Limited. She is a chartered insurer (CII) as an Associate member (ACII) and a Fellow of IISA (FIISA) and has over 18 years relevant experience in reinsurance operations in Zimbabwe and Botswana. Her experience covers risk management, underwriting, marketing, portfolio management, reinsurance design and business development. Patience has attended various relevant courses in Africa and India and has been attached to insurance companies. She has also facilitated various insurance and reinsurance training workshops in Africa. Patience spearheaded the establishment of First Reinsurance Company Botswana, a company which has shown steady growth over the years. Patience holds a Master of Business Administration degree from NUST, MSc Risk Management and Insurance and a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA) and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK (ACII) by examination. She also holds a Diploma in Technical Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe. She also holds qualifications in Leadership and Management.
Managing Director(Mozambique)
Holds Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa. He has 25 years of reinsurance work experience.
Managing Director (Zambia)
Webster joined the group in 1999 as an Assistant Underwriter and has risen through the ranks to the position of Managing Director (Zambia); a position he assumed in 2011. He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Planning, Master of Business Administration and a first class Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Insurance and Risk Management. In addition, he is a Chartered Insurer and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK).
Managing Director(Malawi)
Christopher has been the Managing Director for Emeritus Reinsurance Malawi since 2013. He holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Financial Services and a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. He is also a Chartered Insurer (AIISA). Christopher joined Zimre in 1997 and rose through the ranks to Managing Director. With over 20 years of comprehensive experience in reinsurance, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.
