Rogerio Daniel do Rosário Naene is the Marketing and Business Development Manager at Emeritus Reinsurance Mozambique. He brings over 14 years of experience in the ICT industry, 7 years in the insurance sector, and 17 years in management. Rogerio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane and a Postgraduate qualification in Network Engineering and Communication Systems from ISUTC (Instituto Superior de Transportes e Comunicações) in Mozambique. In his current role, he is responsible for driving the company’s marketing strategy and business development efforts, contributing to its growth and positioning in the reinsurance market.

Empresa Moçambicana de Seguros, S.A. (EMOSE) the largest (by asset base) and oldest Insurance Company in Mozambique. He holds a Degree in Electrical Engineering from Eduardo Mondlane University of Mozambique, Certificate of Proficiency and Insurance Principles and Practice 1 & 2 (Non-Life) from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe, he is currently pursuing  Diploma in insurance studies. He has also attended several insurance training programs including Marine, Engineering, Aviation, Energy & Construction, Property and Causality conducted by Munich Re, Swiss Re, ZEP Re, Emeritus re, Marsh, United Insurance Brokers, Total Risk Solutions and many others top notch Reinsurers Company and/or Reinsurers Brokers in the world. Titos Gemo joined EMOSE in 1991 as Marine, Engineering and Aviation Underwriter, and rose through the ranks to middle management until reaching the position of Technical Director (Non-life) in 2014 and Director of Underwriting (Non Life) in 2023. He serves as non-executive Director on the board of Emeritus Reinsurance Mozambique.

Guilherme De Jesus Felix Mambo holds an MBA in International Trade Relations from the Institute of International Business Relations (IBR) in Germany, along with degrees in Civil Aviation Engineering, and Information Technology and Telecommunication Engineering. He has also completed advanced management training programs in the United Kingdom and South Africa. With 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Mambo has held various senior roles in both the private and public sectors. He has played a key part in modernization initiatives aimed at enhancing Mozambique’s business environment through the improvement of public services. His extensive career also includes diverse international experience, having worked on multifaceted projects in several countries. Mr Guilherme was appointed to the Emeritus Resseguros Board in 2025.

Stanley is a registered Chartered Accountant who has a passion for efficiency. His respect for corporate governance and creative attitude to finance have made him a reputable investment banker and strategist in Zimbabwe. He is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer for Zimre Holdings Limited (ZHL) and is responsible for the Group’s revived DNA characterized by innovative product diversification and the re-consolidation of ZHL’s heartland investments.

Mufaro is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA). He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) and Master of Business Administration from the University of Zimbabwe. He has 30 years of reinsurance experience. Mufaro spearheaded the formation of Emeritus Re Mozambique, formerly Mozambique Reinsurance Company as the Managing Director, effective 2007.Mufaro is an Alternate Board member for OESAI. He is also a Board member of the Insurance Association of Mozambique where he is promoting localised marine cargo insurance and Agriculture Index Insurance in conjunction with the World Bank/IFC insurance for the benefit of the local market and government.

Chalo Ngámbi, General Manager of Emeritus Resseguros, SA holds a master’s degree in business administration bias Insurance. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, holding an Associateship with the Chartered Insurance Institute Uk by exams. He is a fellow of the insurance Institutes of South Africa and Zimbabwe, where is also sits on the council of fellows of both institutes. He is also a member of the IIZ academics council. He attended specialised training at the Malta International Insurance Training in Malta. Besides he has attended various topic training programs and conducted numerous training programs in the SADC region. He conducts students’ revision session for examinations. His 35 years works experience in insurance spans from retail broking with Aon Insurance Malawi, to insurance with Commercial Union Plc Malawi and eventually with Zim-Re, now Emeritus Resseguros, SA.

Tecla Maguni serves as the Finance Manager at Emeritus Re Mozambique, with nearly 16 years of experience in accounting and finance within the insurance sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and finance, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM). She also holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe. Tecla is a registered member of the Mozambican Accountants and Auditors Organization (OCAM), reflecting her strong commitment to professional standards and excellence in the fields of finance and insurance.

Throughout her career, Catia has demonstrated exceptional expertise in commercial and business development, fostering strong relationships with business partners and driving growth initiatives. Her comprehensive understanding of the insurance sector, combined with her strategic approach, has contributed significantly to her success in the industry. Additionally, she has completed her Certificate of Proficiency (COP) through the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe. She has recently commences studies in Diploma in Insurance with ACII -UK.
